Imagine inviting a person to live with you and then once they move in locking all the rooms off that are in the common areas. So in essence you say, “come on in and be my roommate,” then you lock off the kitchen, the bathroom, the family room, the office, etc. They only get their one room! How do you think that would go over? Ouch! For years and years of my life that is what I did to my Savior Jesus Christ. I invited him into my heart, then I systematically closed down and locked him out of areas my life. I never gave him access to the areas in my life that I needed him most. You see for me my faith was really a Sunday only proposition. So Jesus fit conveniently in that “room.” I think back at many mistakes and failures in my life and know had I had invited Him into those areas of my life…the outcome would have been much different. The good news is that tonight, right now, I have given Him the master key to every room! What area of life right now are you struggling in? Where do you hurt? Have you unlocked the door and allowed Jesus Christ to come in? When He comes in…He sends the darkness running. He brings healing, He brings answers, He brings restoration and peace. Call on Jesus and He will come. 2nd Chronicles chapter 16 verse 9. “For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. I remember reading “ My Hearts is Christ’s Home” written by Robert Boyd Munger, a number of years ago and now I finally get it!!! Thanks for letting me share. Randy Young
